Shah Mahmood Qureshi says ‘PDM will be divided soon’

MULTAN: Former foreign minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice-Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Sunday that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) alliance will be divided soon, ARY News reported. Addressing the PTI workers during a rally in Multan today, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the popularity of PTI increases after the regime change. While pointing towards PDM, he added, “Those who want to break PTI and Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) alliance will be divided soon.” He said that the PDM is doing chaotic politics in the country which only led their alliance towards its final destination. Terrorist killed, soldier martyred in Zhob gun battle: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: A Pakistan Army soldier was martyred and a terrorist killed on early Sunday during an exchange of fire with terrorists in Balochistan’s Zhob, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said. According to the military’s media wing, “based on credible intelligence, an operation was launched in Sambaza area of Zhob, to stop terrorists from using few suspected routes to move across the Pakistan-Afghanistan border and to sneak into Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), along the interprovincial boundary and target citizens and security forces.” As a result of continuous surveillance and sanitisation of the area, a group of terrorists was intercepted in the early hours today, the ISPR added. ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA)’s Anti-Corruption Circle (ACC) has recorded the statements of three suspects, arrested in connection with the income tax data leak of former army chief retired Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, ARY News reported. According to details, the arrested suspects recorded the statement before a duty magistrate under section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPc). LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) held its third round of talks for seat adjustment on Saturday ahead of the general elections, ARY News reported.
