ISLAMABAD: The core committee of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has taken key decisions regarding the Punjab by-polls and returning to the National Assembly (NA), ARY News reported on Monday.
The session of the PTI core committee had been held under the chair of Imran Khan a few days ago in which important decisions were taken regarding the political strategy.

Two members had suggested returning to the NA and a member recommended being part of the standing committees, whereas, PTI chairman Imran Khan and Asad Umar opposed it.

During the session, Imran Khan said that thousands of people came out of their homes to support PTI’s long march not to see PTI lawmakers sitting with the corrupt leaders.
The core committee, however, decided to actively take part in the upcoming by-polls on the vacant seats of the Punjab Assembly. They decided that PTI will resist the corrupt political party on the electoral ground.
