ARY Digital Network celebrates 22 years of remarkable journey

KARACHI: ARY Digital Network is celebrating the 22nd anniversary of its remarkable journey which began from a small office in London and has made it the largest television network in Pakistan.

The television network with its news, movies, drama, music and religious information has served Pakistan diligently for the last 22 years.

Late Haji Abdul Razzaq Yaqoob laid the foundation of ARY Group. Haji Iqbal founded the ARY Digital Network while Mr Salman Iqbal has been President and CEO of the ARY Digital Network.

The network started its transmission from Dubai in 2000. Since then, it has not only upheld professional values in these 22 years but grew into a family of popular channels like ARY Digital, ARY News, ARY Zauq, ARY Zindagi, ARY Qtv, and ARY Music. HBO and Nickelodeon are also the part of ARY Digital Network.

President and CEO of ARY Digital Network Salman Iqbal on this occasion said, “Today we celebrate the 22nd anniversary of ARY Digital Network. A Network that revolutionized the media landscape of Pakistan and proudly represents the Pakistani Nation across the globe.”

Imran Khan meets differently-abled boy staying at Bani Gala camp

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan has fulfilled the wish of a differently-abled young boy who stayed at Bani Gala camp for protecting him and waiting to meet him personally. Imran Khan met the differently-abled boy namely Ibrahim at his Bani Gala residence after who stayed with PTI workers for 15 days at a camp established to protect him. Nawaz Sharif says ‘I always wanted to make Pakistan economic power’

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif said that ‘I always wanted to make Pakistan economic power’, ARY News reported.  Addressing a public gathering in Lahore from London the former prime minister congratulated the nation on 25th Youm-e-Takbeer Day.  Nawaz Sharif said that he was offered billions of dollars and threats to stop carrying out the nuclear test, but he made Pakistan a nuclear power which is a symbol of defence and dignity of the country. He said that people started pulling his legs and the journey towards economic development was stopped. The USD value was Rs 104 in comparison to the Pakistan rupee in 2017 and now it is over 300, flour was Rs 33 per KG and now 1kg flour costs Rs 120, Nawaz Sharif added.
