KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah inspected ongoing development works in city along with his cabinet members on Sunday morning, ARY News reported.

CM Shah inspected under construction Malir Expressway at City School chapter. Talking during his visit Sindh’s chief minister said, “it is 50 kilometers long road from Qayyumabad-KPT Interchange to M-9 Kathore”.

Chief Minister said that the issue of traffic jam will resolve with construction of Malir Expressway. “Malir Expressway being constructed with the cost of 29 billion rupees,” he added.

Murad Ali Shah also inspected Malir Expressway at Deh Drigh and directed officials to remove encroachments from the area to increase construction work of the road.

Provincial ministers Sharjeel Memon, Nasir Shah and Murtaza Wahab were also accompanied with the chief minister.

4.6 magnitude earthquake jolts Kalat, surrounding areas

KALAT: An earthquake measuring 4.6 magnitude on the Richter scale hit Kalat district of Balochistan and its adjoining areas on Sunday, ARY News reported. The National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC) confirmed that tremors were felt in Kalat and its surrounding areas on Sunday night. Felling the tremors, people came out of their houses while reciting Kalma-e-Tayyaba. The depth of the earthquake was 19 kilometres and its epicentre was 45 away from Kalat southern part. No casualty was reported so far. Earlier on October 12, an earthquake of 3.9-magnitude on the Richter scale hit Khuzdar and adjoining areas. Imran Khan meets differently-abled boy staying at Bani Gala camp

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan has fulfilled the wish of a differently-abled young boy who stayed at Bani Gala camp for protecting him and waiting to meet him personally. Imran Khan met the differently-abled boy namely Ibrahim at his Bani Gala residence after who stayed with PTI workers for 15 days at a camp established to protect him. The boy has also brought a pair of Peshawari chappal and a waistcoat for Khan. The boy communicated his message in sign language to express his happiness to meet him.
