LAHORE: A female doctor was found dead in the hostel of Lady Willingdon Hospital Lahore, ARY News reported on Sunday, quoting police.

As per police, the dead body of Doctor Naseem was found in her room in the hostel. The reason behind her death could not be revealed as per the initial report.

The deceased doctor actually belonged to Gilgit Baltistan and was working at the Lady Wellingdon Hospital for the last 4 years.

In 2021, the body of a fourth-year’s student at Chandka Medical College was found in a girls’ hostel room.

The body of the student, identified as Nosheen Kazmi, found to be hanged with a rope in the hostel room.

The police reached the scene on the report of the incident.

The VC, Registrar and doctors rushed to the room of the girls hostel number 2 of the medical college after the incident was reported to them.

ATC summons Imran Khan today in terrorism case

ISLAMABAD: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has summoned former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan at 12:00 pm in a terrorism case registered against him for allegedly threatening a female judge, ARY News reported on Tuesday. Additional session Judge Raja Hassan Jawad heard the former premier’s interim bail petition in a terrorism case registered against him for allegedly threatening a female judge in a PTI rally held on August 20.
