Khanewal teacher ‘rapes’ eight-year-old student

KHANEWAL: An 8-year-old boy was raped by his student along with his accomplice in Punjab’s Khanewal, ARY News reported on Sunday quoting police.

According to police, the incident was reported in the nearby village of Khanewal.

The rape-victim kid has been moved to the hospital after he fell unconscious. Meanwhile, the police have arrested the teacher and his friend over the rape charges.

Earlier this month, a minor girl was allegedly raped and murdered in Karachi, Surjani Town area.

Police said the body was found in a manhole near the Surjani Town area.

According to details, a six-year-old girl was missing from Karachi’s Surjani area on Tuesday [March 04], and a day later her body was found in the manhole near her house.

The police officials declared the death as an ‘accident’ after which the girl’s body was shifted to the hospital for a medico-legal process. The police surgeon confirmed that the girl was sexually assaulted before she was killed.

Gujranwala: A 17-year-old boy murdered his own mother by beating her with a baton, the boy was reportedly mentally ill, ARY News reported. The boy murdered his mother and injured his sister. According to details, Gujranwala police arrested a boy for murdering his own mother by beating her with a stick, he injured his sister too. PAK-IMF agreement: Govt expected to raise petroleum levy

The government of Pakistan is likely to impose additional burden on citizens by raising petroleum levy to fulfill International Monetary Fund (IMF) terms, ARY News reported on Friday, Citing sources. According to the sources, the federal government is expected to increase the petroleum levy after which the initial electricity tariff will likely to raise Rs 3 to Rs 5 per unit, adding that the gas will also become more expensive for the citizens of Pakistan.
