Pakistan to achieves economic stability with IMF bailout: PM Shehbaz

PM Shehbaz Sharif, expressed satisfaction, IMF staff-level agreement, economic stability,

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday expressed his satisfaction after Pakistan signed a staff-level agreement on a “standby arrangement” for nine months, helping to achieve economic stability in Pakistan, ARY News reported on Friday.

PM Shehbaz Sharif in a tweet stated that the signing of a $3 billion Stand-By Arrangement will help strengthen Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves, enable Pakistan to achieve economic stability, and put the country on the path of sustainable economic growth.

This agreement will not only provide immediate financial relief but also pave the way for future economic stability and growth.

He appreciated Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and his team at the Ministry of Finance for their efforts and hard work to achieve this outcome.

Shehbaz Sharif expressed gratitude to Managing Director (MD) of IMF Kristalina Georgieva for her cooperation and collaboration during the course of time.

4.6 magnitude earthquake jolts Kalat, surrounding areas

KALAT: An earthquake measuring 4.6 magnitude on the Richter scale hit Kalat district of Balochistan and its adjoining areas on Sunday, ARY News reported. The National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC) confirmed that tremors were felt in Kalat and its surrounding areas on Sunday night. Felling the tremors, people came out of their houses while reciting Kalma-e-Tayyaba. The depth of the earthquake was 19 kilometres and its epicentre was 45 away from Kalat southern part. No casualty was reported so far. Earlier on October 12, an earthquake of 3.9-magnitude on the Richter scale hit Khuzdar and adjoining areas. Imran Khan meets differently-abled boy staying at Bani Gala camp

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan has fulfilled the wish of a differently-abled young boy who stayed at Bani Gala camp for protecting him and waiting to meet him personally. Imran Khan met the differently-abled boy namely Ibrahim at his Bani Gala residence after who stayed with PTI workers for 15 days at a camp established to protect him.
